Miniguts (organoids) are important to search for drugs that are effective in patients with CF. In this project, laboratory techniques are developed to measure drug concentrations in very small amounts of blood in patients with CF. In the project the measured drug concentrations will be linked to the effectiveness in organoids and airway cells. From this, dose-effect relationships can be studied for individual patients. This allows an optimal method of administration (dose and frequency) to be calculated for each patient so that patients can benefit as much as possible from the treatment and as few side effects as possible
