The project, which has as its primary goal the study on the impact of home telemonitoring on the prevention of adverse events and on the quality of life of CF patients undergoing lung transplantation, started in September 2017, after a little delay due to bureaucratic issues with the Hospitals involved. The project has been carried on in the following 4 Italian CF Centers:
• Policlinico di Milano (main partner) – Supervisors: Dr.ssa Letizia Morlacchi, Dr.ssa Emilia Privitera
• Policlinico di Padova – Supervisor: Prof. Federico Rea
• Ospedale Pediatrico Bambino Gesù (Roma) – Supervisor: Dott. Sergio Bella
• Ospedale Meyer (Firenze) – Supervisor: Dr. Cesare Braggion
for a total amount of 31 patients enrolled. The centers involved have already selected other 20 patients, actually involved in the study.
