Looking for people with CF to participate in an interview study into opinions and preferences about the (long-term) storage of organoids for medical research
Are you familiar with ‘mini-guts’ (organoid technology) grown from stem cells and their potential for CF precision medicine? Are you fluent in English and have you donated stem cells – or are you considering this – for the creation of an organoid? If so, then the University Medical Center (UMCU) in Utrecht (NL) would like to interview you. Specifically, they are interested in your opinion and preferences about the ethics and governance of storing organoids in a biobank for use in medical research. You can find more information here.
The interview will last max 1 hour, and can be done via internet (Skype, Zoom, etc.). If you are willing to participate or if you would like additional information, please contact main researcher Mike Lensink of the UMCU by sending an e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
